On 23rd March 2026, the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) and King’s CICM co-oragnised a research meeting on the Denmark Hill Campus. The meeting was hosted by Dr Alessandra Borsini, Programme Leader for the MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mind-Body Interface, IoPPN.

The session featured a presentation by Prof Hongchun Yin, Honorary Advisor at King’s CICM. His talk was titled: “Holism in Traditional Chinese Medicine: Mapping the Body’s Surface as an Acupoint Network and Hologram for Integrated Diagnosis and Intervention.”


Dr Qihe Xu joined Prof. Federico Turkheimer, Director of King’s Institute for Human and Synthetic Minds, to lead the discussions on TCM-inspired research exploring the body–brain link and future CICM-IoPPN collaborations.
Over 40 King’s fellows and students attended the meeting on-site or via Teams.
