On 6th Sep 2025, King’s College London launched a JustGiving Campaign to establish the Peter Hylands Award in honour of the late Professor Peter Hylands, a visionary pioneer and international leader in integrative medicine research and development. Professor Hylands was co-founder and Co-Director of the King’s CICM initiative and co-founder and former Head of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Science at King’s College London, and was co-founder and former Treasurer of the GP-TCM Research Association.
This award is dedicated to empowering early-career researchers—undergraduate, MSc/MRes, PhD students and post-doctoral fellows—who are applying 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 to advance Integrative Chinese Medicine (ICM).
